Dr. Benjamin Kamala presents positive results from Moyo study at PAS 2017 Dr. Kamala’s presentation showed improvements in abnormal FHR detection and care in a hospital in Tanzania where Moyo was used. The study results are not yet published in peer-reviewed journals and analysis is continuing which could results in additional findings.  Read more here…

Safer Births Fetal Heart Rate monitoring started

The randomized controlled trial aiming to identify the best device for fetal heart rate monitoring started 1st of March at the Haydom Lutheran Hospital and Muhimbili National Hospital in Tanzania. The results takes us one step further in finding effective ways of detecting compromised fetuses early.

1st of March marks the start of the Safer Births in Tanzania.With the randomized controlled trial on different fetal heart rate devices started and the research assistants observing deliveries at Haydom and the midwives at Muhimbili National Hospital started data collection using the Safer Births data collection form.
